digipak research

For my digipak research I chose to look at Adele's album for someone like you. I chose to do this album of Adele because like my song she is singing about emotions and her feelings. Looking at the album cover for this song you can see that the images are all in black and white it offers the binary opposition of good and bad, right and wrong. The shot of adele on the back of the album you can see she is looking up into the camera which is a high angle shot which shoes that she is feeling very vulnerable.  The front of the album cover is a shot of adele looking away from the camera which shows that adele is in deep thought and she is reflecting on words that have been spoken to her.

Before I created my digipak I had to create a couple of drafts. 

These are the ideas I came up with.

photo shop tutorial

Today we did a tutorial on photoshop. On this tutorial I learnt about the layers. For every image you want to put onto the screen you need a new layer. 

I also learnt how to delete the background with the wand tool. There was also a rubber tool so you could get all the small bits which have ben missed.
